Backrooms drops you into a liminal maze of endless rooms where something is always watching. The phenomenon began with Kane Parsons, whose viral shorts were dubbed “the scariest videos on the internet” and sparked a wave of games and expanding lore. Now, A24 is bringing it to the big screen with Parsons directing, and Oscar-nominated talent leading the way, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve.
